Big, Bigger, Biggest

BEGINNERS: Don’t be afraid to color outside of the lines or change your plan as you go. Sometimes, even though the finished product may not be what you had in mind in the beginning, it turns out even better than what you had planned! Try it! You might like it!

Another Eight-Point Star. This was actually a baby quilt for my cousin and his wife and their brand-new son, Colton. It turned out kind of big–bigger than I had originally intended. 50″ x 50″!

But, it is a lovely quilt and they were thrilled with it and I heard through the grapevine later, my cousin’s wife loved it BECAUSE it was bigger. She said it gave the baby plenty of room to roam.
