Christian Inspirational

As a Christian, I often find myself thinking these two things about my life: 1. I’m too insignificant to be helpful to God in His purpose and/or 2. I’m not good enough for God to use.

In Big Dreams, Scary Giants and Itty Bitty Grasshoppers (by Kristin Kay Johnson) I learned two even more important phrases: 1. I’m NOT too insignificant and 2. I AM good enough.

Kristin tells us all about her own struggles, trials and tribulations trying to fulfill her potential in God’s kingdom. Some are tragic, some are sad and some are just too darn cute. Through it all she perseveres and realizes that God can use her and YOU AND ME! She tells us about her calling to spread this message and about her dream, The Shepherd’s Haven Ranch. It’s a very personal story about her relationship with God and how she came to realize that she is important in his kingdom–each of us is!

“I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people: Your sons will prophesy, also your daughters.” Joel 2:28.

Kristin is one of God’s daughters and she’s prophesying God’s good news, for her, for you and for me!

In her tale, I saw myself. Although her actual experiences were different than mine, I can relate to the spiritual struggles, doubts and fears. Because of this, her message resonated with me as much as it will for you.

This is an incredibly inspirational and energizing book! After reading it, I couldn’t help but rethink some of my own dropped or broken dreams and get started afresh on making them come true with God’s help to further His kingdom and my purpose!

If you’re looking for a touching personal story and a great message to go with it, this is the book you need to read. Kristin wrote it just for you!
