Review: Heart to Heart a Gift of Unconditional Love

Autobiographical

There are few things as magical and meaningful as love. In this sweet book, the author speaks to all the different types of love that have come into her life over the last year. She talks about her husband, Billy, and her BEST friend, Edna, and how losing them both in a short amount of time changed her life. She tells of other friends, family and caregivers who have all been there for her during the good times and bad. The main focus of her story though, is the man she calls her “Angel in Disguise”.

Sometimes, people come into lives, to stay forever…and sometimes to stay for just a little while. Each changes us in a fundamental way. This is the message I took away from this book.

The author is open and honest in her writing. It’s easy to see and relate to her feelings about every angel in her life. I enjoyed her book because it made me think of all those people who have come…and sometimes gone…in my life who have changed me so fundamentally as to help make me who I am today

"I'd like to think of myself as a blended mix of Southern charm and humor. What I really am is a hot mess of sin and sass. Jesus loves me either way."
