Review: Karma Dead Ahead (A Private PSI Detective Mystery Book 1)

5 Stars

By: D H Montegomery

(I was given a free copy of this book, by the author, in exchange for an honest review.)

What a fun read!
I enjoy both mysteries and the paranormal genre…so this book was a gold mine for me. The characters are well developed, fun and have loads of character. As it should be, as you the reader go along with the story, you begin to feel that you know each character…they become friends–or enemies–as the case may be and you find yourself right smack dab in the middle of the story.

The twists and turns are so exciting that I often found myself reading with every muscle in my body tensed and my breath captured in my lungs…

There were often times when I LITERALLY laughed out loud. Love the witty and so naturally written repartee between characters. If they represent even a little of the author’s own personality…I would love to spend time with D.H. Montgomery…I can imagine that would be a hoot!

The only negative thing I might have to say about the book was that I had a hard time with the unusual names. I found myself stumbling over them and trying different ways to pronounce Sagacity Jeunesse and others… it was a little bit distracting. BUT…not enough to make me put down the book until the very end.

I would recommend this book to anyone.
