Review: Killing Floor (A Jack Reacher Novel Book 1)

5 Stars

By: Lee Child

My husband and I both enjoy the Jack Reacher Novels. We’ve read quite a few of them now…strangely, we JUST discovered that we’ve been reading them out of order.

Killing Floor is the first in the series.

“Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.”

This is actually a very good book. I enjoyed it immensely. So did my husband who, when asked what he thought it said, “Yeah. I liked it.” High praise indeed (coming from him).

"I'd like to think of myself as a blended mix of Southern charm and humor. What I really am is a hot mess of sin and sass. Jesus loves me either way."
