Review: The Dirty Parts of the Bible

5 Stars

By: Sam Torode

Lovely story.
I’ll be honest, in the first chapter or two I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. Then, suddenly, wham! I was hooked…and I can’t even tell you why. I just was!

I have some deep roots myself, in Glen Rose, Texas (where the story begins). My grandmother was born and raised there…in the same time period recorded here in this book. Maybe, in my heart of hearts, I was expecting her to show up as a bystander, a witness to this darling little love story. Mr. Torode, you really pulled me in. Well done!

Loved it.
